We have an exciting career opportunity for an entry-level sales person who wants to get into online advertising sales on the ground floor and build experience leading to an outside sales position. Starting as an inside sales representative you will be prospecting new business through cold calling, following up on pre-qualified leads, attending networking events, trade shows and other industry events. Previous experience selling online interactive advertising and search engine optimization services is a plus.
Compensation is primarily performance based with base salary, commission and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate new business by contacting pre-qualified leads and cold calling.
- Attend networking events, trade shows and other industry events.
- Write proposals and manage prospects through the sales cycle.
- Sales lead management through ACT.
Qualifications:
- Experience in commission-based phone sales, preferably in interactive online advertising sales.
- Proficient at reaching and closing online advertising sales with local businesses.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Solid record of recent quota-based sales achievements.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Effective computer skills and proficiency in MS Words, Outlook and ACT.
- Bachelor degree.
